RULES
In order to ensure the safety of participants and fellow citizens, here is some very important information to follow for the smooth running of the parade.
The floats can arrive from 4:30 p.m. behind the Canadian Tire. A team of volunteers will welcome you there. You will only have to follow their instructions to know where to take your place. IT IS IMPORTANT TO RESPECT THE PLACE THAT WILL BE ASSIGNED TO YOU TO PLACE YOURSELF WAITING FOR THE DEPARTURE. If you want to be two floats following each other, you must arrive at the same time and place yourself where you are asked.
We ask that you be respectful with the volunteers who give their time in order to ensure the safety of all.
To ensure the safety of spectators, we ask that you do not distribute treats or other things before having made the first turn of the start. If you have walkers accompanying your float, let them approach the children on the side of the road to ensure that they remain safe at all times without going into the street to join you.
At no time can you throw treats or other items out of the window of your vehicle. Too dangerous for children who will want to pick them up on the ground in the street.
It is important to keep a certain distance from the float in front of you without creating spaces that are too large and would delay the parade.
The parade is always the highlight of the Christmas Festival. Thank you for helping to light up hearts and spread the joy of the holiday season in our beautiful community 🙂
